Rails Real applications live in the wild

Basecamp is the original Ruby on Rails application from which the framework was extracted. Basecamp was launched by 37signals in February of 2004 and enjoys more than a million people using the system. It's billed as Project Collaboration Utopia and is all about making internal and client projects a success.

 

43things is the brainchild of Josh, Daniel, and Erik of The Robot Co-op. It's grand vision is nothing short of helping people achieve their goals in life. The site was launched in August of 2004 and together with 43places and 43people, it handles millions of page views per day.
